  1. This is a collection of simple programs
  2. I have written over the past two years
  3. which may be amusing to a young child.
  4. All programs require a color monitor.
  5. The programs MIRROR.PRG, TILE1.PRG and
  6. TILE2.PRG are simple drawing programs.
  7. By applying simple symmetry operators,
  8. any scribbling looks interesting.
  9. COLOR.PRG uses the fill command to
  10. color outlined areas in a set of
  11. pictures (COLOR1.PI1, COLOR2.PI2 etc.).
  12. By superimposing textures, you can get
  13. interesting looking pictures.

  15. TYPE.PRG gives your child the
  16. opportunity to use the keyboard of the
  17. computer. A map of the keyboard is 
  18. displayed on the screen and your child
  19. presses the letter in red on the
  20. displayed keyboard. Nothing happens
  21. unless the correct letter is pressed.
  22. There are no upper case letters, but
  23. your child must know about the space
  24. bar. The sequence of letters pressed,
  25. form the words to the nursery rhyme
  26. 'Ba Ba Black Sheep'. The program plays
  27. part of the tune, each time a verse is
  28. completed.

  30. NITPICK.PRG displays an array of two
  31. similar shapped letters (Hebrew letters
  32. in the higher levels). Using the mouse
  33. find and  click all instances of the
  34. requested letter. The higher levels
  35. are difficult for even adults with good
  36. vision. This program runs in medium
  37. resolution.

  40. sources (*.LST files) may be treated
  41. as public domain.
